which ICC profile out of the five? ricoh 3110dn
Re: which ICC profile out of the five? ricoh 3110dn
Sorry to be dim, but which ICC profile out of the five that arrived in the download, is the appropriate one for subliclassic paper? there is plain, inkjet, and three different flavours of glossy (glossy, speedyglossy and high speed glossy) to choose from. The paper seems to have a matt surface, so I would probably go with plain, but I may be completely wrong. What do you use?
thanks in advance,
Jon

With mine all of those appear at the top of the selection but almost at the Bottom is the Sublijet-R one.

Nik is right...in Photoshop the Sublijet-R one is towards the bottom.
I think the others are the standard Ricoh profiles for printing on normal paper, as supplied with the Ricoh driver.
It is definitely the Sublijet-R one you want.

Hi Jon,
I'm on Mac too, and it definitely should be there somewhere. Did you go through the whole registration stage and the likes, with the Sawgrass download? If so, it should be installed. I can't remember exactly what the profile is called, but can check on the work computer if you can't find it. What software are you using?

Still nothing on mine, just the ricoh ones. I redownloaded and tried to install again, it told me it was already installed. . . restarted Pshop CS4 and still no show. i did the registering thing first time I installed and all was OKed. Really don't know what went wrong here. I might try searching the mac using the file name to see where it might be lurking. Not sure how that will help but I'll see.

If you can't find it, would be worth giving the guys at Sawgrass a quick call in the morning and I'm sure they'll be able to sort you out. Triple check you've followed their install guide first though

Thanks,
I clicked the install, got the reg code then installed and it said OK. So I have to assume that was all right. I checked the Library and there is no such profile in the Ricoh section, just the glossy etc ones, so it looks like they just aren't there in the download. If they are, where are they?? I'll ring Sawgrass tomorrow and sort it out. Odd. It should be fine with OSX 5.8 leopard.
cheers,
Jon
