So who has been your supplier of the year and why?
Who has gone out of their way to keep your business or done you a favour?

It will be a tricky one for me as there are three in the running that I can think of for me personally. I will vote later once I have decided or maybe I will just mention all three :-).

Just a bit of fun so no negative comments about suppliers that may have done you a dis-service please....

I will sponsor a bottle of wine to the winning supplier with the most votes (I have about 30 odd here and I do not drink the bloomin stuff!!!!)

P.S. If admin want to turn this into a poll feel free to do so.

P.P.S. Please do not use Prices as the reason to give, I want to know who has gone above and beyond....

Mine as to be THE MAGIC TOUCH only because they held a open day in Cardiff which was the closest ive been to visiting a supplier and meeting them, if i had to go on other reasons then i would say BMS due to there DSF input etc, so its between these two for me.....well done to all the other suppliers that come on here too as i believe that getting down with your punters is the best possible service one can give!!

pipped at the post!

I also nominate our Tall friend!

It may be harder to get rid of those bottles than you thought ;o)

If I had to choose another supplier, of those I have dealt with in the last couple of months, Listawoods have to go top of my list for service above and beyond the call of duty especially given that I am a part time one man start up business and not likely to be buying from them in pallet loads for a while yet - although I live in hope!

i agree with dave
i think BMS and the MAGIC TOUCH have being a great supplier i have never had an issue with them
although to choose one it would be BMS
i think their customer service has got to be one the best i have dealt with to date (only a few months now) in that short time a quick phone call to them when something wasnt right and they would happily help.
so my vote goes to BMS :)

good post social it will be good to see some of the answers :)

I dont live over there so cant comment on a supplier other than The Magic Touch. Super helpful.

But over here I cant say one supplier is better than another. They all bend over backwards to help. Threads, presses, vinyl, clothing, embroidery machines, sublimation or printers, just ring the supplier and they will pull out all the stops to help. They are all good.

I've always found MDP good no supply issues and things come well packed. BMS are good too they use a good postal provider so items come quick and plenty of notifications to say when delivery is due

There are three that I have

The Magic Touch. Nathan, Carl and Alan have been pretty amazing in their support/assistance with me over the year and deserve recognition. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and the success of TMT is well deserved.

Listawood. Kris and Becki are always on the ball and persevered with a particularly awful client of mine who requested sample after sample of red plain stock lanyard when they kept losing them. Kris also bent over backwards to get an order out for me which was very urgent.

But the winner for me has to be Subli Metals for their recent help with two bits of metal I needed. It was a very close thing between the three companies, but it came down to the fact that my spending with Subli Metals has been nominal to say the least (I just do not do metal stuff). And yet Nicci went out of her way to assist me which in my opinion was a true act of generosity on her part.

All three companies are excellent in my opinion and have all contributed in making my work that much easier. Its good to know that as a small business there are some out there that give the assistance that Earl seems to get from everyone, perhaps we should all move to the Fatherland :-)

Dont get me wrong, not everyone here is perfect. Ive been in business here since 2008 and have weeded out the chaff.

I have received help from Magic Touch and Coralgraph, both have been helpful and replied to the emails or phone calls when I've had a problem
