I am a very satisfied Listawood customer - they have their Genie mug press on offer for the P&P show - I think the show prices are good until March 7th. The regular price for the Genie with 4 blankets is £295 plus vat (£354 inc) but its on offer for £225 plus vat (£270 inc vat) which is the usual price for a Genie with just a single Durham blanket which is a much better price than if you were to apply the DSF discount.

Talk to Kris or Becki when they get back in the office on Weds.

If its not too far for you to drive, they are based in Fakenham in Norfolk and so long as you pre arrange it they will give you a tour of the company - a real eye opener, and give you some hands on tuition with the Genie - take some images (on mugs) along that you have already printed - before it all went belly up and compare your mugs with theirs. Not sure of your previous experience but I found it time well spent - I purchased my press and printer, tinkered for a few weeks and then went along to Fakenham to find out what i had been doing wrong or could do better. I also discovered the benefits of using the Sawgrass ICC profile instead of Powerdriver - not much help to you if you aren't using Sawgrass inks!

NOW

when i do the same, the mug press goes over the 180 randomly, every now and then, also when i peel the paper away i get discolouration and there a rough finish to the mug, as if the paper has left a resisdue maybe?

please help as im getting dishartened, everything was going so well, lol

Hi, Welcome to the forum!

Reading your comments above, it looks like there may be a couple of issues. If you are finding that your papers are sticking to the mugs you are trying to decorate, it may be that the mugs have not quite cured properly after they have had the sublimation coating applied.

If you are having some issues with your press you are welcome to pop down to see us in Norfolk, bring it along with you and we can try to troubleshoot the problems you are having. Alternatively, we are still at Printwear today so you if you are free pop along to the NEC for a chat!

Cheers,
Becki
