Google shopping now charging

As the title says really google shopping are from today charging to be listed in google shopping on a pay per click type basis what do we all think ?

Ditched Google Shopping ages ago, got sick of all the new requirements and the hours of editing. It was actually a relief when I deleted my feed. I get sales from Google image search.
