Packaging Sealer?
Re: Packaging Sealer?
Hi all,
Does anybody have information on sealing the plastic packs that phone cases come in? Perhaps a little handheld sealer?
Not essential but would give a much more professional finish to a shipped product.
Also - if you know of suppliers of branded inserts for this type of packaging that would be great too.
Thanks in advance,
John.

Hi and Thanks for your input. I have looked at these but I would prefer to use the semi-rigid plastic (blister type) packs that come with my blanks. Mainly because they would look better once sealed but also because they come free with my cases and it would be a shame not to use them.mrs maggot;86232 wrote:search clear self seal bags on ebay, just check the sizes they should do the job fine the ones below are on for £4

Re: Packaging Sealer?
Subliblanks were about to start selling a dye sublimation box for smart phone cases that looked really good. I had a bit of an issue in that their website I think was going to be on the box so am not sure if they resolved it or not.
But out of interested why not create your own box with a window?
Would not be that difficult to make a template and then arrange for it to be printed.

we got a load of phone blister packs from Mr Blister website, I think they have sealing things on there too, but theirs close up nice and tight without needing to be permanently sealed, which I find quite annoying as a customer when I have to cut open a blister pack.

Thanks Everyone.
I've taken a look at your resources. I see Mr.Blister do insert cards which is great.
I already have the Blister packs as my cases come with them - Just need to find a way of sealing them. Most of the sealers I see look like they only do bags (unless you get a ruddy great machine). Maybe I'll just go low-tech and get a stapler
Cheers,
John.

I would try and make those existing cases work, can you use a little square of double sided clear tape?
