Re: Transparent Vinyl

Wanting to source some transparent gloss sticky vinyl that can be heat pressed to polyester fabrics. We don't do vinyl t-shirt type work, so no idea where to begin looking - searching has found me lots of coloured vinyls, but not transparent so far.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

You will probably be better looking at materials for print and cut, I'm sure some of those are transparent, just don't print it.

Yeah, that's as far as my research got really - what are recommended print/cut vinyls for applying to fabrics?

I don't know personally, maybe socialgiraffe or someone else who does print and cut could help.

The Magic Touch sell some clear stuff and there is also a gloss protector from Siser (Graftype) which may do the trick

A cheap laser transfer may work.

Have found that if you press a transfer, peel it then press again with either grease proof paper or a teflon sheet on top then you get varying results. One of which I think gave it a glossy/oily feel.

Might be worth giving that a go.

Solvent lite from Xpres unprinted would work.
