any help on what is a good software to veiw eps files and for converting the eps file to jpeg theres a load
online but only lets you convert 5 at a time and ive over 5000 to convert
i can open them in photoshop or coral but would take me ages to go through them

Irfanview. Batch converting option there. Work a treat.

Hi George,
You can batch convert to Jpg in photoshop.

Use File->scripts->image processor.
- Point the input folder to where your eps files are.
- Point the output folder to a new folder so that the originals can't be overwritten.
- check "save as JPEG" and set the options you require.
- then "Run"
