I have S4 (don't have S5 yet) - Long story but I'm not producing on "mass" yet as I'm waiting on web development.

I have done quite a few cases but mainly family/friends/friends of friends - Nobody has asked for S4 or S5 yet.

very brave of you. when using dummies to cool, have they all been exact size replicas? or is this off by a mm or two pretty common?

Sorry, Davalos... haven't noticed your question until now.

I use exact-size demo models, and so far I've only ever had to buy them once as they've all been a perfect fit first time. The (now three) Samsung S5 dummies that I bought all had a date of "Februny" on them so were, presumably, all manufactured by the same company from the same mould. The way I resolved it was to go to every 'phone shop I could think of (thankfully, they were all on one street) and ask if I could test my own 'perfect' phone case (the one I made using my own S5 phone) but they all had security tags on them so I had to put the case on the front rather than the back, but they all fit.

Then I went to a store who had one without the security tag, and it was perfect. The girl offered for me to just take it before the manager saw, as he was dealing with another customer, but when I suggested that the store cameras would pick up the fact that she gave me the dummy she said she'd just get into trouble and it was no big deal. I wasn't having that. Waited for the manager, explained my situation, but he still wouldn't sell me the dummy. What I did do, however, was to commit the actual layout and design of the front to memory so that I could then reference it when browsing eBay.

I bought three dummies from three different sellers, two in the UK and one in Australia, and all of them arrived safely... and all are 100% perfect with a 1:1 scale to my actual phone. Produced my first test yesterday evening and it was spot on. Very happy. It does mean that I have two unusable dummies though, so I may leave them on a bus or in a shop just to get someone excited.

Can you share a link or post a pic of the S5 dummy's that are the correct size? I too have one with the date of "fubruny" and need to get a dummy that is the correct size. I've seen some lately that say "New York City" on the front as the location, is this the one that's sized correct?

No sign of NYC on the front of these, no. Only one of the sellers I bought from is still selling any, and it looks as though they have plenty of them available. This is also the one which arrived quickest:

You'll be really surprised at the difference in feel and weight, too!

we are using that s5 dummy case "fubruny" and have no bother with it fitting 3d cases when shrinking - ours has a gold backing to it

Does it fit to a real S5 though? The dummy we were using was not the correct size and therefore were got returns because they did not fit the customers phone.
