Re: Brother DCP-J152W

Hi all, Looking for a cheapish way of getting into dye sub and wondered if anyone has tried using one of these? only £70 and with a set of refillable carts @ £20+ ink.
Would it be a sensible approach or should I go for epsom or ricoh.
I don't have any hair left to pull out if I have problems !!
Any advice much appreciated.

If there is no much hair to pull out then I would strongly recommend to go for ricoh :)

I use Brother exclusively and can suggest you will have an easier time going Ricoh or Epson. The reason I use Brother is that I like printing A3 and the Brother A3 inkjets are priced to be 'disposable'. They usually have no cartridge chip (unless the newest one have changed) making refilling simple.

But if you get a Brother for Dye Sub you will have the dramas associated with icc profiles.

The advice above is pretty good. If you are going commercial and only need A4 size, the Ricoh and suitable Epsons are a good place to start because you can get help on this forum from people experienced with them.
