I think that is knackered, oh well, it goes with the 30 odd mugs I have buggered up, I am a beginner myself, I sold up one business to do this and all I have done so far is have a really good laugh, I have got mugs and badges down to a tee, and working n plaques now,
The waste is a pain but we chose to do it so im doing it with a smile!

You do have a great attitude :biggrin: I hope to get my first Heat Press by next week. I am gong to start with children t shirts. But would love to do Plaques too. The more I read the forum I can see my shopping list get longer. :rolleyes:

When I did it with a phone case a good soaking and rubbing made it come out good (actually better than when I was doing it right back then as I was getting mixed results)

In case you are not aware the image you are using (a poor quality thumbnail as well) is an item under copyright by the metal plaque maker who issues them

Clearly you are not aware that I was only trying out some new plates I had purchased (and yes off Ebay!) , I started doing this as I am a very good artist and have hundreds of designs in my portfolio which I have compiled over 40years.

But thanks for the 'poor quality' comment, appreciated, I may be new to dye sublimation but I am assuming if you want to compare colours on new products or be it new ink, or any other process, then you set what is known as datum, a comparison if you will which shows all colours as expected and thus a comparison to which to compare products/finishes, hence adjust times temperatures accordingly, But hey! im a dumb newbie, what would I know,
