Had my first go at printing a mug today.

It's not perfect but for a 1st attempt I'm a pretty happy bunny.

Just took these pics with my phone real quick..

Looks pretty good to me. What press and mugs do you use? printing to the bottom can be tricky

Thanks Alan! -

Some of the solid colours are slightly patchy and the black outlines have a little bleed but I think that's just because I didn't leave the print to dry for long enough.

I'm using the 3D-Sub Machine (ST3042).

The mugs were from Subli-blanks (dino-coated, their own coating).

Didn't do anything fancy - Just taped the paper-on, added a silicone mug-clamp (supplied with 3D machine) and job done.

I normally print and press straight away but I am using a mug press - not sure that makes a difference. I've got some mug wraps coming (cheap green ones) so I'm going to try printing in an oven at some stage.

I'm also just using the cheap green ones - They seem fine to me.
Let me know how you get on :)

Looking Good!
It amazes me that I went through hundreds of phone cases before I got them right but every other product I've tried has come out pretty good first time.

I had great results first off with mugs and a press - 2nd and 3rd box of mugs (same supplier) were not good - mug tapering and top to bottom prints were a lottery, 1st box were no issue at all. I'm more curious than anything regarding the oven and I've just seen that the wraps aren't coming until well into March!! I must take more notice when ordering from Ebay:)
