Going back to your original question then only you can decide.

You know your customers and more importantly you presumably know what you are known for. Expand that part of your business to be the best in your area (even if you are a distance seller). Once you are the go to man for that, then you can look at being the go to man for other items. Vistaprint conquered the business card/leaflet/paper market before heading into other promotional items.

Lastly, I would never buy a Sun Angel system, my opinion on those machines has already been exhausted on this forum so no need to drag it up again :-)

Ive seen your opinion of sunangel lol and I agree only i can decide in all honesty I have very few customers as most of my customers are word of mouth. I'm in process of building my site to drive more business. I was looking mainly for some insight but have decided on the 9600 although ive been told its expensive but full inks and fully serviced have sold me on it I do as much canvass as tshirts to be fair but customers have never asked me for better tshirts but they have asked for bigger canvas

They may say they stock parts but if so they cant have many and epson discontinued this machine many years ago. It does not share a lot od oarts with the 9880 machine like the 9800 does so you cant het printheads etc. I usually buy up old machines and salvage parts but you dont know how much use they have had. A 9880 you should be able to find for about £1200 to £1600 depending on use its a much better machine . 9880 can print bidirectional without banding a 9600 cannot even a 9800 was auapect on bidirectional.

Hope that helps.

Ive decided against it as don't feel right just trusting the seller to have spare parts

Soulclaimed, do a search on ebay and you will see Mags is right, excluding China there are not a lot sellers of that particular part, clicking on one tells you its not in stock.

Wise move to steer clear in my opinion, but keep on the wide format canvas :-)
