Are you referring to a specific 3D Heat Press? I use the ST3042, 3D Vacuum Heat Press (Chinese make). Initially I had no end of bother with it but things are coming together now.
For 3D 'hard' phone cases the settings I've found work are:
Temperature: 190C
Time: 9 minutes
Use a die specific to the case to help the case keep its shape.
Pre-heat the heat press to the desired temperature and use both top and bottom heating elements (press the heat button twice to turn both on).
I have only been able to test this on 4 cases so far, including an iPad case, but the end result has been great for all. If someone else has found other settings to work then please do share

I've got the ST3042 machine also. I've been running 3d cases at 196 degrees F for 7.5 minutes with good results

This would be a hint:

I don't believe any OTC Chinese machine can yet replicate their machine.

Sorry for not replying sooner, Ravisteam. I was on holiday and then ill.
I am not 100% certain of what you mean, however the end results of my cases are clear and sharp. No residue effect from what I can see.

Re: what machines professional ppl use for 3d wrap cases
I see. I have not had this happen on any of my 3D cases but at this stage I have only done half a dozen or so. What equipment and settings are you using? It sounds to me as though the temperature is too high, the case is pressed for too long a time, or a combination of the two.Ravisteam;99652 wrote:thanks for the reply.if i explain it again ,its like when you leave metal inserts in the heat press for bit longer you get the same effet( kind a burnt but its not much visible)..my 3d covers print great too but this effect cant be get ridoff..thanks
