St-3042 has just gone bang.

I was making some mugs as usual this afternoon. As I turned the vacuum on. The was a bang and the machine went off. After letting the machine cool down u turned it back on to test it all. The heating worked fine but I got nothing at all from the vacuum when I tried it.
Does anyone have any idea of how I could fix this please? Or am I looking at needing a new machine?

Difficult to diagnose properly but it sounds like the pump has gone which provides the vacuum. I'm sure the supplier you bought the machine off would have spare parts?

Cheers pal. To be honest looking at the price of the pump and then trying to fit it and then it might be something else. I'm probably better off just buying a new machine.
