Dye sub INK - black is it red or blue

AS we know there is not such thing as a pure black ink, the raw products generally have either a RED or a BLUE hue depending on manufacturer.
its not bad to have either its a personal preference .
Which do you prefer ?

Sharpie Black on Acetate... glorious, shiny and smooth... red hue i believe

Although remember doing Chromatography experiments at school, and all images on google imply blue is very much the norm for kids colouring supplies

In my days of Litho printing I was always asked to add 80% Cyan to a solid black, ever since then I have done so, never thought of playing for the reds to be honest

Yup i still calibrate litho presses infact i did a heidelbergh perfector just a couple weeks ago in glasgow setup to iso 39L. I was always told to use 50% cyan. Sublimation ink will always have a red or blue hue its just all about what the raw product used is. Seems certain parts of the world prefer blue some red.
