Re: Artist interested in printing

Post by GregorLaird »

Hi my name is Gregor
Just left a job at a retail store in Edinburgh where I was instore graphic designer, working a lot with a Graphtec plotter (760mm wide)
Have moved to Wolverhampton where I want to work as an artist / illustrator / designer.
I want to get myself a plotter - just a second hand one, nothing massive! Any recommendations?
Also, I'd like to print my work onto mugs - wrapped all the way round - am I right in saying this is sublimation?

Also, want to get my work printed onto tea towels and wrapping paper.
Can anyone recommend anywhere to get this done cheaply?
Thanks

http://www.countrysideart.co.uk/ is ideal for getting your for tea towels done, good company and I'm always happy with their work. The price depends on how many t towels you want. Cant help with the wrapping paper but if you type in wrapping papers printers loads come up all you have to do then is phone them for prices
