Problem with Ricoh GX70000 Printer

I bought a Ricoh printer frm Xpres about 2 months ago. For awhile it was OK but every now and then I got a faded print. Xpres told me to do a head clean and this fixed the problem until the next time which could be the next day. On speaking to Subli Supplies, I mentioned the problem to Nicci and she asked how I was shutting down the printer. As it turned out I was just pulling out the plug and not shutting it down properly which was the problem. With Ricoh printers (maybe it applies to all printers) it is important to shut it down properly.

It applies to all printers. Powering off by the button ensures correct parking of the print heads
