Re: Tacky sublimation paper

Post by Bex »

Hi everyone,

I’ve just bought some Titan medium tack sublimation paper to help eliminate any chance of ghosting on fabrics. Just tried it on a cushion cover and I’ve never seen blow out like it. It didn’t even stick to the fabric either. Has anyone else tried this paper?

Thank you

I had no luck with that paper. When I need a tacky paper I just spray the transfer with screen printers spray tack first. Bit messy but does the job.

Double-check that the fabric of your cushion cover is compatible with sublimation printing. Sublimation works best on 100% polyester or materials with a high polyester content. Natural fabrics like cotton or blends may not yield good results. print shop near me
Sometimes, pre-treating the fabric with a fabric treatment spray designed for sublimation can help with adhesion.
