Breakfast 'on' a heat press ............ ?

It's been done with irons (done it myself with bacon) but I was sat here thinking ................ I wonder if I could clean my press well enough to use again if I throw some bacon on a tray and close the lid just above it ................. still, it's just a thought as It would be the most expensive bacon sandwich I'd ever had!
