I know we all have some customers that are a bit of a pain, and we sometimes bite our lips when trying to meet their requirements but every now and then something happens that takes you completely off guard.

This morning that happened!

I did a t-shirt for someone before Xmas who was taking it out to their finance in America for Xmas. They told me what they wanted and I suggested something - it wasn't too much of a tough job to do and to be honest didn't take long to make at all.

Anyway, the mother of the customer picked the t-shirt up and that was that.

This morning, the customer who ordered the t-shirt popped into the shop and asked if I remembered the t-shirt I did for them. When I said I did they produced a little bag with a small gift in it and said that they, their family and many others were very impressed and wanted to show their appreciation.

I was (to be honest) a little taken back by this and thanked them so much and they popped back out the door.

I was sat here afterwards thinking - all that effort you put into those jobs, they are worth it for this one thing!

It's been a tough couple of months due to many things but this has certainly brightened up my day and I just wanted to share it with you all :-)

how lovely, makes it all worth while, i gave a baby vest to a guy who's wife would not let him buy one, as the baby needed heart surgery when born, and she said that she would not buy anything until the surgery was over.... i have a lovely photo of the baby in his baby vest with slogan on with a note from the dad saying i am in trouble when his wife sees me next, but only because of the slogan lol

A few years ago I was in a city & was badly lost & late for an important meeting & found myself outside a new car dealership. I went into the office & asked a young lady for directions which she gave me by printing out a street map & highlighted the route I needed to take. I told her I was now going to be late & she called directory enquiries to get their number & called them to say I was on my way which was so kind of her. A couple of weeks later I had to go back for another meeting at the same place but, on my way I stopped off at the dealership & gave the young lady a box of chocolates to say thank you for helping me out. She was lost for words & said nobody had ever done anything like that before to her. I have to admit I felt good too when I saw her reaction & was well worth the effort to say thank you to her.
