Re: new screen

Post by mrs maggot »

I have bought a new screen, but its a widescreen, and its driving me nuts, as anything circular in corel, is now oval, i have tried making the screen in corel narrower but its still distorted, any settings i can adjust to make it more "normal" when designing ??

its great watching movies and stuff now, but designing is a nightmare

Have you tried pressing the auto adjust button on your monitor?

Jack.
If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.

auto adjust should do it. I have a 20 inch wide screen and everything displays correctly.

If you press one of the buttons and the screen goes black, that is the off button.

Ive got the same problem and cant figure it out either. In Paint the circles are round but in Corel they are oval.
Auto Adjust doesnt work either.
Id love to know how to fix it.
