Re: How Cool

Post by TonyM »

Hi all,

I was chatting to my friend today and telling him how I am going to tell our gaffer where to get off soon as I am going to make my millions in the sublimation game. Apparently you cant sublimate lottery tickets though so we came up with some ideas.

I told him how i had bought some mugs that changed when you added hot water. He liked the idea but didnt quite grasp the concept.

As I sat in our wagon eating my bacon and egg baguette and drinking my luke warm coffee I liste to him getting excited about the endless possibilities. He is an Avid Birmingham fan. wheras his wife is a Villa fan. Imagine he said if I present her with a Villa mug and she sits there drinking a cuppa an it has changed to the blues he laughed. What about I walk in with my cuppa showing a cute little puppy and once I had finished my drink I was looking a t a cute litte something else.
How cool would that be?

He was gutted when I said no it is just a black square and that is what changes.
Bless him.

I drank his hot coffee whislt he was telling me his ideas too!

Reminds me of the old pens you used to get where you tipped them up and the ladies clothes just fell away!

Never got around to printing any of the colour change mugs, I'm told the image is still very faintly visible when cold though.

You would need the opposite of heat reveal for some of that so it hides the image when the mug is handed over and when drinking away a Birmingham City logo appears.
