I have a Epson photo50 printer and just getting started.
What inks do I need to run to print onto transfer papers dye or pigment what's the difference?
Seen some on coral graph 100ml bottles very reasonable.
I understand i need sublimation inks for sublimation products, am i right in thinking that the only place to get this is sawgrass or are there other more affordable outlet.

For a small printer like the P50, the only licensed sublimation ink is from Sawgrass. If, for instance, say you had a large format printer (above 42 inches carriage width) you could buy better quality ink at better value (less £ per ml) but you would need to get a custom ICC profile made, and find a good supplier of said ink who would help you out with getting set up, and any troubleshooting.

For transfers i would sugest pigment ink. SublimTio ink you can get from loads of.sources but sawgras is only one that peole call "supported". But for me if set correctly there is NOdference on end product.
