Title says it all really.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBLIJET-RICO ... 3533781%26

I have never purchased from this seller and am not sure what size carts, but even so, they seem a bit cheap to me.

I will let you know...

At £50 (ish) for a set I have decided to take a punt. Plus ebay and paypal are actually really easy to claim your money back if the item is incorrect. Even if the buyer is very unreasonable as many threads on here will testify

They certainly aren't genuine. The seller is using an image of the SubliJetR cartridges but I suspect they are filled with their own 3rd party inks. Caveat emptor.

Your first sentence states that you are certain that they are not genuine - do you have evidence?
Your second sentence says that you only suspect they are trading dishonestly.

Hi Martin

I think you are right and will be able to tell immediately without putting it in the printer.

I decided to purchase anyway because as I said, if the item is incorrect I can simply place it in dispute with ebay and get my money back straight away. I have a spare set of carts here so will check everything including how the plastic seal was done, if they included the small card that Sawgrass put in etc etc.

It may be that they are simply selling off cheap because of the expiry date (although the ones I got the other day expire in Nov 2013 anyway), will let you know when (or rather IF) they arrive.

£12.99 for 60ml of sublimation ink still seems a bit on the expensive side for me - £10 per 100ml seems to be the going rate at the moment.

Bargains do happen on Ebay especially with out of date ink- about a year ago I bought a full set of 8 genuine Epson UltraChrom K3 110ml carts for a large format (not one that I actually owned!) for about £5 each ... bought them and immediately relisted them for around £40 each.

These may be genuine, and being sold off due to the date, or the company has gone under, or many other reasons.
