I was digging around in my old software cupboard and found my copy of Picture Publisher Version 7. PP7 is an amazingly good bitmap manipulating software.
Tried to load it on W7 but PP is a 32bit program and W7 is 64.
Is there any way my old software can be loaded onto W7?

Right click on the .exe file for the programme. Then click the Compatibility Tab at the top and then under the Compatibility Mode line check the box for "Run this programme in compatibility mode for : Windows XP (Service Pack 3)..... hopefully that should solve it!

Re: Running old software on Windows 7.
Thanks guys for your help. Sadly neither method worked. My computer is new but wont run XP mode and the software ran on Win 98 and wont run on Win 7 in 98 compatability either.
Im going to try my laptop which runs XP. Maybe Ill have luck with that. ( but not holding my breath).
Thanks again
