Placemats Warpping..?

Anyone any ideas about stopping the wooden placemats warpping after pressing..have tried it all..placing heavy things on them but they still go out of shape and sit with a curve in the middle...these are the unisub ones..pressing as per website instructions.

As soon as they come out of the press, put something heavy on them and allow to cool. In terms of weight, it could be a fire extinguisher, concrete block (on a protective mat obviously), but it needs to be reasonably heavy. Let it go cold (leave overnight or an hour or so) and it will be flat. Often the weights aren't heavy enough or only left on for a few minutes resulting in the curve as the item absorbs moisture from the air and warps. The heavy object on the top stops the warping as it cools.
