What am I doing wrong
Re: What am I doing wrong
I have a pixmax 5 in 1 and I am trying to do the mug press. I have sub paper and sub inks. I have printed in reverse and set the machine to 310F for 180 seconds then submerged in water. All per instructions but nothing happened on the mug. I've trouble shooted and tried increasing the pressure and temp. I've also tried both sides of the sub paper to make sure I wasn't printing on the wrong side but still nothing stays on the cup. What am I doing wrong

Re: What am I doing wrong
The ink is just the sublimation ink for the espon (4 colours) the paper is high quality sublimation paper bought from Amazon and the mugs are just plain white from asda
Re: What am I doing wrong
It's the mugs isn't it. Do I have to buy speciality mugs. If yes where's the best place to buy in the uk

Asda mugs won't be sublimation mugs...that's your problem right there. Your gonna need sublimation coated mugs, and probably a good read of the forum!
Theres a supplier list somewhere on here, that will link to plenty of suppliers.

Okay
You need to purchase Sublimation mugs. ASDA mugs will not work as they do not have the required coating
That is your main problem, I suspect the Ink and Paper is no good either but you will get something from it if you were using the correct mugs.
