Does anyone know of a programme that can really install old software, I've tried it following the instructions on my laptop time and time again with no joy

Thanks Bob

If running it as Admin in compatibility mode doesn't work (some programs just won't play) then you may need to dual boot your computer with the old OS, or get a cheap/old computer just for running that software - we have a laptop we keep on XP so we can keep our large format scanner running, as it's cheaper than buying a new scanner!

Tried it when running an application that was only XP compatible, and couldnt dual boot as not all drivers were available for my system in XP.

It failed at every hurdle.

Same as Pisquee we ended up buying a second hand system of ebay to run XP and use that when required.
